This "Whitehall Gigs" web site is the creation of Mary Nell and Philip, two rowing enthusiasts associated with both Floating the Apple and East River C.R.E.W. (Community Recreation & Education on the Water). We support the growing network of non-profit and public interest organizations involved in the very exciting work of redevleoping and reopening, for public use, hundreds of miles of the water's edge in the five boroughs of New York City, the lower Hudson River in New Jersey and New York, and the Long Island Sound near NYC in Connecticut and New York.
